On August 4, at the 57th China Higher Education Expo held in Xi'an, the China Association of Higher Education announced the list of typical cases of the "double-hundred plan for school-enterprise cooperation" of the Expo, and three cases of SXAU were successfully selected.
The case of "Co-construction of Science and Technology Backyard, Promote the Rural Revitalization" of the College of Agriculture was selected as typical case of practice base construction. The case of "implementing school-enterprise cooperation, cultivating new agricultural and veterinary talents" of the College of Veterinary Medicine was selected as typical case of teaching reform. The case of "exploration and practice of deep integration and coordinated development of cultivating application-oriented liberal arts" of the College of Resources and Environment was selected as typical case of professional disciplines construction.
The case of "Co-construction of Science and Technology Backyard, Promote the Rural Revitalization" is jointly completed by College of Agriculture and Shouyang Jiahe Agricultural Science&Technology Co., Ltd., we integrate talent cultivating, scientific and technological innovation and social service, and focus on solving practical problems in agricultural and rural production. The case of "implementing school-enterprise cooperation, cultivating new agricultural and veterinary talents" is achieved through seven-year consecutive deep cooperation between the College of Veterinary Medicine and Shanxi Muyuan Food Co., Ltd.. It puts forward the docking mode, learning objectives and career selection of applied-veterinary talent cultivation so that to push forward the reform and innovation of new agricultural veterinary talent cultivation. The case of "exploration and practice of deep integration and coordinated development of cultivating application-oriented liberal arts" of the College of Resources and Environment is a joint construction of our Land Resource Management Discipline and Shanxi Jin'Ou Land and Mineral Consulting Service Co., Ltd. in the past 20 years. We raise the mode of "golden land" of applied-talents of liberal arts cultivation to break through the single mode and poor feasibility for industry application so as to promote the reform and innovation of talent cultivation in the field of land and natural resources management in the new era.
It is reported that there are total 7 cases from 4 universities of Shanxi Province were selected. The "double-hundred plan for school-enterprise cooperation" of China Higher Education Expo aims to deepen the integration of industry and education, school and enterprise cooperation, build bridge between universities and enterprises, and enhance connections among the chains of education, talent, industry and innovation.
In recent years, SXAU actively responded to the new requirements of innovative development of higher education in the new era, adhering to its orientation of building itself into a “domestically first-class, internationally influential and regionally distinctive high-level research and application-oriented university”. SXAU attached great importance to the integration among science, production and education ass well as professional co-construction. Together with partner enterprises, we built numerous demonstration bases, key projects, typical cases, shared communities of production and education integration, providing a diversified education platform for accelerating the high-quality development of higher education in SXAU.
